PRISHTINA FOR ALL

Disability is not one that limits a person to be an active part of society, but is environment inconvenient that prevents and restricts greatly the person with disabilities full participation of his / her society. Such a condition prevents the integration of social, economic, political and cultural development of persons with disabilities and also shows the negligence and irresponsibility of public authorities as well as low awareness of our society.

We intend adequate access through public facilities and infrastructure to make priority policy our capital as a necessary precondition to full participation in society for all, which suits different needs and which enables the entire population movements free and unobstructed.

Therefore, Handikos launches campaign "Prishtina for all", with the main aim of promoting the right to free movement of persons with disabilities in Pristina raising awareness of representatives of local institutions and society.

This campaign is supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) within the project "Social rights for vulnerable / marginalized groups - Sorin".
